Suspension rule

There has been some questions on our suspension rule that was brought to my attention and I checked into it. The rule states OEM four link, leaf springs or fabricated three link with heims, or bushings This means the four link has to be stock, like the old metric chasis, no fabrication. The leaf springs do not have to be stock . Also the three link can be hooked up with heims or bushings not both. If there is any more questions let me know and I will look into it. Also the 4 corner Late models will be allowed to run the big show ONLY if they run our track tires and follow there rules. I have relayed this to there President. Also I have been contacted by a few drivers out of Arizona that run the street stocks, super stocks in a Tuscon that want to come down.
Thanks and talk to everyone soon,

Royal some clarification please

We need some clarification of the rules before we race again. At the last LLM meeting, (which we did not attend) several of our fellow racers stated that Gary's rear suspension was illegal. It's the same one we've been racing for the last 5 seasons, it's never been questioned before.

"14.Only OEM four link, leaf spring, or fabricated three link rear suspensions may be utilized, after market leafs ok."

How can a four link be 'stock' when we are allowed to use full floaters?

" 18.Four springs maximum, only front spring mounts must remain in stock location. No coilovers."

How can a four link be 'stock', when the rear springs DO NOT have to be in the stock location?

13."Arms of rear suspension must be a minimum of 19" long and may utilize heim joints or rubber bushings for attachment. "

How can a four link be 'stock' when you can use heim joints?

Dorothy the four bar suspension has arms from the factory with rubber bushings. The three link can use bushings like the rubber ones or just run heims.
The floated rear end is a safety item and you have to weld the mounts to it.

I don't think anyone thinks your car is illegal. I haven't seen it underneath, and I didn't hear anything like that.

You can't not race based on rumor. Heck, I would have quit a long time ago at everything I do , and probably be locked up based on 'rumor".

Sounds like you guys have em worried though.

Thanks Royal for putting the answer out there for me. And Dorthy If it is the same rear end as last year it checked out ok otherwise Gary would have been Disqualified. And I was in charge of the meeting as alway and never heard anyone talking bad about Gary or your car like I told you before. If they did I didn't hear it and I was one of the last ones to leave. Hope Royal clarified it for you guys since I guess I didn't Hope to see everyone soon.
